Beachside Hotel & Suites Cocoa Beach - Port Canaveral

First, Jennifer should be employee of the YEAR!! Great, quaint, quiet, and safe stay! Everything has a retro beach hotel feel, but to some that may seem “dated”. The rooms were basic but clean, and very spacious. Our room could have slept more than our family due to the pull out couch and the dividers that make the room feel somewhat like a mini-suite. The pool was great and the lazy river was a plus! Staff was very hospitable and on top of any needs we have had. The restaurant in the vicinity was great, offering decent meals and drinks! Get a room in the hotel tower for a great partial beach view on the 6th floor! I’d recommend you come, stay, swim, eat, drink — all at the hotel! And a big plus is a night walk on the beach or anytime, as you are a 2-3 minutes walk away! A legit breakfast is included! I’ve heard great things!

Booked this with a friend and my daughter last minute so we didn’t know what to expect upon arrival but we really loved it! The customer service was great! Nice pool and lazy river, Free bike rentals and the free breakfast in the morning was perfect. I even forgot my cosmetic bag and they shipped it to me within the week!

This was a Wonderful one night stay before heading to our cruise. Perfect location. We did not get to enjoy outdoor amenities because it was too cold. But the room was excellent. We were able to create a 2 bedroom space. However the sofa bed is SUPER uncomfortable, but that was better than. Not sleeping hearing my cousin snoring all night…. I will not take Away stars because there were two perfectly comfortable beds. I would definitely consider this hotel for a longer visit.

There are some reviews that made me afraid to be here, so I hope this is helpful for you as you book your trip. We needed a room close to the cruise port and we wanted to be able to have amenities where we could lounge by a pool and grab a drink after a long day flying. This place did not disappoint. I asked if there is luggage storage as we came earlier than check in. The answer was yes. However, the room was available earlier so that was a nice surprise as we had been traveling since 2:00 am mountain time. The lazy river was fun and the drinks are not over priced. The room smell that others complained about is a standard smell in humid environments. This is Florida. It’s humid. Bring a plug in and your problem is solved. We had the air and fans circulating and sprayed some Febreeze in the air. We also opened the door to the pool as we wanted to hear the live DJ. Overall, this place is a little dated. It has personality. I would stay here again. They also have shuttles to the cruise port and from the airport. Hope the video helps!

I checked in with Jennifer at the front desk and met the manager Willis which will both extremely informative. The rooms were nice the grounds were clean and the hotel staff including the security guard were very nice to me. The lazy River was a plus with the large TV and the entertainment of live music on the side. This place was amazing and very pleasant to stay at. It was centrally located and convenient to go anywhere you needed to be for shopping and transportation. I was up there for the golf cart parade in Cocoa and it was a pleasant experience as they let me Park my truck and trailer on the lot. I felt very safe what's security running around the clock. The beds were okay the TV worked fine and the internet worked well. Right across the street from the beach.

I will 100% book this hotel again. It is situated perfectly and is a very short walk to restaurants, shopping, groceries and the beach. The rooms were clean and all of the staff at the front desk were happy and helpful, but Lou stuck out, she was amazing! Her energy was contagious.

Very cute hotel! Decor is traditional Florida vibe. Front desk staff very friendly & knowledgeable. Super clean room & bathroom. Shower head kind of sucked (leaky) but got the job done. Was disappointed that there was no hot tub. Pool was way too cold for me but that’s simply preference! Very nice outdoor area with games, tables & sandpit for little ones. Breakfast was great and in a well kept/clean area. Front desk made excellent recommendations on local food! If you are a late or light sleeper, be prepared for checkout noise. Rolling suitcases sound like freight trains coming through due to the type of brick surface haha

We arrived in Florida a day before our cruise and I would highly recommend the Beachside Hotel & Suites. Within minutes of the port and within walking distance to restaurants and grocery stores. We stayed on the ground floor of the resort. There was a five story tower but we were happy to be on the ground floor near the pool. The room was dated but comfortable. The bathroom was extremely tiny and had a sink that had a hard time draining. Your resort fee covers your breakfast so make sure you go down and enjoy it.
